This project was to change the look of this custom bike using paint. At our customer appreciation party Scot Pollard asked Rick to take his custom and give it “ A Combs Custom Paint Job”. After breaking the bike completely down we changed the color to black then needed to decide where to go with the paint. Scot showed us one of his tattoo’s which is now duplicated on the rear fender. From there the entire top surfaces of the sheet metal have been transformed into a black & gray Asian design then sprayed with a blood red candy, custom mixed to get exactly the color Scot wanted. Part of the transformation is removing all the red powder coat from the engine and polishing. There is also a subtle change to the front end which gives this bike a very classy look. To appreciate this one it must be seen up close. Thanks to our staff , Greg Mauer, for airbrushing nearly 80 hours and Steven Allen , fabricator and assembly.
